Privacy Policy

Last updated 10 October 2026

Short version: we do not ask who you are, and we do not keep what you tell us. There is no account, no login, and no profile. We count page views, without cookies and without following you anywhere else. The longer version is below, including what changes if we add advertising.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. The tool asks which garment you own, where you are going, and optionally how your skin, hair and eyes read. Those answers are sent to our server, used to work out the ranking, and discarded when the response is sent back. They are not written to a database, because there is no database.

We do not use cookies. We do not use browser storage. If you close the tab and come back, the site will not know you were here before. The page-view counting described below is also cookie-free.

What our host can see

The site runs on third-party hosting. Like every web server, it keeps short-term logs that may include your IP address, browser type, and which pages were requested. We do not read these for anything except fixing errors, and we cannot connect them to the answers you gave the tool.

Advertising

We are not running ads yet. If that changes, it will almost certainly be Google AdSense, and the rules are different once it does. Here is what will apply:

We will update the date at the top of this page when advertising goes live.

Analytics

We count page views using Vercel Web Analytics. It was chosen because it does not use cookies and cannot follow you to other sites.

What it records with each page view:

What it does not do: set cookies, store your IP address, or build a profile of you. Visitors are counted using a hash generated from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours, so there is no identifier that persists beyond a day and nothing that could be used to recognise you on another site.

We cannot connect any of this to the answers you give the tool. Those are still never stored.

Children

The site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. Since we collect nothing from anyone, this is mostly a formality, but it is worth stating.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and similar laws you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data a site holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to return or erase. If you want to check that for yourself, write to us at the address below and we will confirm it in writing.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, by adding ads or analytics for instance, we will change the date at the top and describe what is different.
